Throughout the year Paul has been the featured artist for various hostel/nursing homes in Victoria. Paul enjoys returning to the elderly citizens who through their lives have made Australia the place it has become. If you are in management/activities co-ordinator of an aged care facility (high/low care nursing accomodation, aged day care centres) in the Western & South Western districts of Victoria Australia and would like Paul to do a concert, Paul prefers that the arrangements is done through the nearby Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Overview of concerts in 2005
Paul was a featured artist in USA!!!
Watch Paul's performance of "Mine Eyes Have Seen" (NB Paul will commence performing within approx 20 seconds)
Once in every 5 years the Seventh-day Adventist Church holds a world-wide convention, known as General Conference Sessions. This year is the 58th General Conference Session, which is held at the America Center in St Louis in Missouri, USA. The seating capacity is 70,000, however on a whole the convention did not reach the total seating capacity. At this convention each region has a devotional, half an hour musical program as well as stand alone performances between regional reports. On American Independence Day, 4 July 2005, Paul Hamilton Glover was requested to one of the handful stand alone performers between the South Pacific Division regions reports.
In addition to the live performance at the America Center at St Louis, there were other media daily broadcasting/televising the convention: throughout the globe:
6 Hope Channel, which is the official Television Channel for the Seventh-day Adventist network * (Televised Globally)
6 3abn (www.3abn.org), which is a private Seventh-day Adventist Television Channel* (Televised Globally) (NB different regions have different addresses – eg Australia www.3abnaustralia.org.au)
6 AWR (www.awr.org) - standing for Adventist World Radio relayed speech only. On 4 July 2005 they included their interview with Paul Hamilton Glover. (Check website for area of coverage)
6 Watch Paul's performance of "Mine Eyes Have Seen" (NB Paul will commence performing within approx 20 seconds)
6 DVDs available from Adventist Source (NB on 4 July 2005, this includes the interview of Paul Hamilton Glover on the Hope Channel and also his performance on 4 July 2005. His other performance on 6 July 2005 is also available on one of the DVDs.)
* We have been informed that the usual statistics for the combined worldwide audiences of the 2 TV Channels is approx 4 million, whether it was more or less at the convention, we do not have the statistics for this.)
**For the benefit of the Australian viewers, the program of 4 July was televised on the Hope Channel in Australia between 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST on Tuesday 5 July 2005 and again at 2:00 am - 5:30 am on Wednesday 6 July 2005.
At the convention a selection of performers were given the opportunity of providing half an hour concerts in the America Center Mini Theatre. These concerts were not televised. Paul Hamilton Glover was one of the performers selected. On Tuesday 5 July 2005, people were rapt with his half an hour performance.
On Wednesday 6 July 2005, Paul Hamilton Glover was selected to commence the day with his arrangement of "When Peace Like a River". This performance was also televised, however in Australia it was aired on the afternoon of Friday 8 July 2005 and repeated on Saturday morning 9 July 2005.
Paul Hamilton Glover appreciates the generosity and the support of the four Seventh-day Adventist Churches which openned their doors to enable him to do fundraising concerts so he could meet his obligation of performing in St Louis. So that the residents of the Coronella Retirement Home would feel part of the event, Paul provided a concert. However, to his amazement the residents wanted to put their hat around so they also could contribute. To Paul that was very special as he realises the sacrifice these elderly citizens would have made in raising $135.00.
As a result of the concerts at the four SDA Churches (totalling $1920.75), the Coronella Retirement Village surprised Paul by passing the hat around after his free concert for them ($135.00) and personal donations ($444.25), Paul Hamilton Glover was able to raise a grand total of $2,500.00.
What is extremely amazing is that for some reason Paul Hamilton Glover was overlooked in being advised in November/December 2004 when all the notifications went out to the performers for the General Conference Session. On the morning of 3 June 2005, Paul first became aware that he was one of the featured performers of the above event.
Each of the performers were responsible for all their own expenses in getting to the convention. Paul felt that he was obliged to fulfil his commitment of performing at the General Conference. However, it was an extremely short timeframe for Paul to ensure that he had the finance of roughly between $5,000 - $6,000 AUD to cover all the expenses in relation to performing at the above event.
The following four Seventh-day Adventist Churches (SDA) openned their doors to enabled Paul Hamilton Glover to provide fundraising concerts to raise the $2,500 required to attend the event:
Sunday, 26 June 2005 3:00 pm - 4:45 pm at the Grevillea Community Chapel, corner Learmonth and Grevillea Roads, Wendouree (Suburb of Ballarat, Victoria). Collection for the donations will be taken at the concert. CDs will be available at $20.00 each.
Saturday, 25 June 2005 3:00 pm - 4:45 pm at the Warrnambool SDA Church, 101 Lava Street, Warrnambool. Entry by donation. CDs will be available at $20.00 each
Saturday 18 June 2005 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at the Warburton SDA Church, corner Warburton Highway & Riversdale Road, Warburton. Light Refreshments in the Warburton SDA Church Hall after the concert. Entry by Donation. CDs will be available at $20.00 each
Saturday, 11 June 2005 7:30 pm - 9:15 pm at the Mullum Mullum Community Chapel, 28 Mullum Mullum Road, Ringwood. Entry by donation. CDs will be available at $20.00 each

About The Catacomb Church Originally built in 1977 this unique church is cut out of the sandstone in the shape of a cross adorned in a simple and natural way befitting the outback opal fields - cross, lectern, and communion table fashioned from local mulga wood and an old miners winch.
