Farm boy to multi-talented composer, arranger & concert pianist.
Even though Paul did not initially pursue music as a career, he did have an interesting time in regards to music.
At the age of 7 Paul Hamilton Glover commenced piano lessons with a music teacher. This in itself is not unusual, but unknown to anyone else, Paul would listen to the teacher, after which at home he would get his mother to play through once. Then he would "practise". He successfully hid his ability to disguise his "learning" for three years until his mother discovered that Paul was transposing the music in a different key, which resulted in cessation of his music training.
About 1989 Paul began composing for his own enjoyment. Since his youth, audiences would be rapt when Paul was requested to "tinkling the ivories" for various functions.
Paul Hamilton Glover did not consider going professional as a Composer and Arranger until 1999.
Playing by candlelight created a wonderful atmosphere for his first solo concert in 2003. Audiences were so enthralled by the 1.5 hour concert at the Catacomb Church at Coober Pedy, that they requested for Paul to stay a few more days to another concert. During 2004 was the evolvement of Paul Hamilton Glover being the pioneer of Classical Australiana. Classical Australiana genre has the instrumental flavour of the Australian Folk music. The Classical Australiana music format is easy listening, with a variety of styles which can consist of ambient effects, instrumental film music backdrops.
To date Paul Hamilton Glover has released 6 CDs. A number of these CDs are available through various Outlets. Radio and other media audiences both in Australia and other parts of the globe are enjoying his talent.
The covers of the CDs also tell a story. Each of the photos CD Covers, taken Paul Hamilton Glover, feature Australian locations that are of importance to Paul and his wife Ruth, or where their Australian ancestors resided.
Imagine the setting of the main event of Iceland Fashion Week in 2004, in one of the buildings overlooking Reykjavík at twilight. "Symphony of Dreams" was chosen to enhance this great and colourful setting for the international models.
It is interesting that the music committee of a quinnenial event in St Louis, USA, requested that Paul perform his arrangement of "Mine Eyes Have seen the Glory" on the American Independence Day to a live audience of approx 35,000 and two TV audiences worldwide totalling approx 4 million.
In Australia, every week (except Elvis Tribute Week) to approx audience of 1.1 million a different track by Paul Hamilton Glover is used as background music to the inspirational real story section of the Faith Above All TV show. Faith Above All premiered on 4th March 2006.
It is a credit to Paul Hamilton Glover, who is a quiet achiever, to be an encouragement to others in his personal story "Never Give Up".
